Blackboard Shutting Down

All Instructors –

On July 1, 2013, NMSU will be:

A.      Shutting down the old Blackboard system.  If you still need to move content from Blackboard to Canvas you will need to do it before that date.

B.      Deleting all courses that were migrated from the old Blackboard system to Canvas by the LMS Team.  These are the courses that end with:

-        .2009 (200920, 200940)

-        .2010 (201010, 201020, 201040)

-        .2011 (201110, 201120, 201140)

-        .2012 (201210)

If you would like to keep any of your old content, you should:

1.       Request a Canvas Development course - http://learning.nmsu.edu/canvas/canvas-request-forms/canvas-development-course-request-form/

2.       Migrate the content from the Blackboard course to the new Canvas course - http://learning.nmsu.edu/canvas/canvas-resources/canvas-faqs/#migrate

If you need assistance migrating the Blackboard content to Canvas you should attend one of the Canvas Labs listed at http://learning.nmsu.edu/canvas/canvas-workshops/.
